Weekend Goals

Whoa crazy busy. Again. Still. Whatever. Anyway. I decided I should post some goals for the weekend, in hopes that that will keep me focused and give me a feeling of accomplishment, or something. Or maybe I'm just short on stuff to talk about today. You decide. :-)

This isn't everything I have to do, by any means, but it's some things that I'd really like to get done. If that makes sense.

1. Finish Shedir.
2. Finish two Netflix discs to send back on Monday.
3. Make a decent dent in my current homework assignment.
4. Pick out a recipe for a dish to bring to D&D next week and one to bring to Thanksgiving, and shop for the ingredients.
5. Get to 28,000 words on my novel.
6. Sit down and do some serious holiday gift/entertaining/etc. planning.
7. Update the sidebars.

That's... well. Probably enough, huh? What are you trying to accomplish this weekend?

Hi Kat, thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you achieve your goals for the weekend. Mine involve shopping and cooking for a 17year old birthday on Monday, but I do need to finish up the christmas list and do some serious planning!!

Whoa. That's gonna take some serious multi-tasking. I'd say get the worst ones over with first (homework?) and the rest of the weekend should be pretty enjoyable! (Movies and holiday decorating - what could be better?)

I need to put back the furniture after last weekend's carpet cleaning adventure, do laundry, wash my older son's bedding before he comes home Tuesday night, clear up some paperwork, shop for groceries for the week he will be home, write a couple blog posts, and take pictures of the box of yarn I got this week, plus the hats I've already made from it. Plus finish catching up on Bloglines -- I'm almost there.

What ambitious weekend plans! What movies are you watching this weekend? I thought I might look at PPV and see what is new.

If you like movies and knitting you should check out Jennifer's newest group fiberflix http://fiberflix.blogspot.com/.

It is alot like Knit the Classics, but instead of reading book you watch movies and knit themed projects.

Well, I DID want to get some cleaning done, but ended up shopping longer than I planned . . . not that it didn't work out well for me! My Visa card is tired now....

I am trying to stay warm this weekend!!! I started on a hat with some Manos del Uruguay yarn I had left over from a scarf. I am waiting for mail delivery. Maybe my Lang yarn will come today and I can start on my sweater! Stay warm! Oh yeah.....I should work on cleaning up my house!
