Yeah, it's weird. But apparently, there is a little known minority of people out there who have a fetish or obsession about amputation. There was a CSI:NY where it was part of the mystery once.

Apparently, for some it's a sexual thing, and for others it'a similar to someone who truly believes they were born into a body of the wrong gender. The amputee fetishists often believe they just weren't meant for that arm, leg, or whatever to be there.

Totally weird, but apparently, just true enough to base a movie on. This could be either brilliant, or totally aweful. I don't think mediocre is an option!

I'll go and see it for the same reason as you. I'm loyal to my WW'ers,lol! I like some unusual art house type movies but this one may be a little too out there...

Yeah, I'm actually quite tempted to see this, but I have the same mental block that's prevented from watching Studio 60 - don't know if can bear to watch Janel with anyone other than Brad... I know she's a good enough actress to not just replicate Donna, but still, she looks remarkably similar... and unlike some it's not like she can grow a moustache!! (Oops, I mentioned it again!) Maybe I could pretend that Donna has a cousin who went into acting and looks a lot like her...

It all started to go downhill for her when she agreed to be Helen Santos' chief of staff.

Hey if I can watch Janel in Brotherhood, I can watch her in this. Someone really needs to write some great material for her again though.
