May 17, 2007Random MemeJumping on the bandwagonHere's how to play... 1. I hate doing things out of order. I need to read series in order, and also to watch TV shows in order. This means that I watch the first few episodes of LOTS of shows, in case they end up being good, because I can't start in the middle. 2. I watch Alton Brown while eating breakfast. (Thank goodness for TiVo.) 3. Putting things in alphabetical order relaxes me. Sorting is good too. 4. I adore ice cream and eat it several times a week year round. It always startles me when people say they don't want ice cream because it's cold out. 5. I am good at remembering names and other details, but I have a horrible time recognizing people. (If I've ever not said hello to you at a festival or other event, that's why.) 6. I've been to at least eight foreign countries, but never the closest - Canada. Must do that one of these days... 7. I'm a vegetarian (as of fairly recently), and I hate mushrooms, which rules out most of the vegetarian-friendly dishes in many restaurants. It's annoying. But I keep trying mushrooms, and just don't like them. 8. I can't sleep if a closet door is open. Okay, tagging: Chris, FemiKnitMafia, Rachel, Courtney, Kristy and/or Leander, Jennifer, Erica, and Cate. But this has been around and I've lost track of who has done it, so feel free to ignore if desired. :) Posted by Kat at May 17, 2007 10:55 AMComments
Heh, I suck at names AND recognizing people. I'm not meming, but thanks for thinking of me! Posted by: Chris at May 17, 2007 12:37 PMBreakfast with Alton sounds fab!!! :) Posted by: Leah at May 17, 2007 12:38 PMThanks for the link love, yo. But I posted these on my "About" page, just so I can avoid memes. teehee. 8 countries? That's impressive. And we'd make a good team with recognizing people. I can't remember names at all, but I remember faces really well. Posted by: The Feminist Mafia at May 17, 2007 01:38 PMOh, I can't sleep with the closet door open, either! I tried to be a vegetarian, but I hate lettuce, spinach and other leafy things, which rules out salads (and, like mushrooms, most vegetarian dishes). It also rules out being a model (since that's what they live on). ;-) Posted by: Jeanne B. at May 17, 2007 03:14 PMdid you teach the open closet door thing to David or is it genetic? Posted by: Mom at May 17, 2007 08:05 PMI've been thinking a lot about going vegetarian myself. What motivated you? Maybe we could swap non-mushroom recipes! I hate them as well... Posted by: Courtney at May 18, 2007 09:20 AMOoo, I always see faces I recognize, but can't remember their names =/ You and I should hang together - we'll cover each others backs. And my college roommate was very patient, as I always had to have the closet door open, just to make sure it was empty of bad guys =) We may be exact opposites? Posted by: carrie at May 21, 2007 05:58 AMHappy graduation! Posted by: sprite at May 21, 2007 04:18 PMHorray for ice cream!
