Crochet is catching on again. I just had someone from work ask for lessons today.

crocheting: I'm still working on the same baby blanket that I started last summer. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of this summer. I've no surgery in sight, though, so I don't know how successful I'll be. ;)

Chopping raw bacon: The word you are looking for is 'kitchen shears'. I HEART my kitchen shears. SO much faster at that task than even a very nice sharp knife and much less skeevish IMO. Just be careful not to nick yourself, which I've done. Ouch.

Kitchen shears! I have them, I would have never ever thought of that.

I'd crochet, if I could figure it out. They've got some really cute crocheted hats.
