Comments: Review: A Fountain Filled with Blood

Thanks for your kind mention, Kat. As Julia's husband of nineteen years, I believe I can say (and trust me, if I'm wrong, she'll let us all know...) that this was perhaps her most difficult book to write.
She had received some acclaim for her first book, but was not sure exactly what it was that people liked about the first book. Sophomore jinx stuff.
And the issues she writes of in Fountain are close to her heart. She has now written five books, and is trying something new in each book.
Thanks for your interest, have a terrific New Year, and Read On, MacDuff!

Wow, truly, a niche for every conceivable life situation in the mystery world.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll either request the first one from the library immediately and thereby further delay starting on my From the Stacks Challenge books, or try to remember to request it at some point in the future.

Probably door #1.
