This is a slippery slope. Be careful. And if you're not careful, I'll see you at the bottom. ;-)
Too bad we missed each other yesterday. Next time.
I've thought for a long time about making a quilt. Of course, there wasn't opportunity back when I had a clunky old sewing machine. But now....
Isn't that always how it begins? An innocent visit to a show, and you get sucked in.
It must have been "sucking in" weekend for crafts - you got into quilting, and I spun my first yarn on my drop spindle. I'll be posting pictures later. :)
I don't quilt yet, but I do collect the fabric for making stuffed toys and such. I can introduce you to a little quilt show up the hill from me here in Wilton - it's off the beaten path, but well worth visiting.
Quilting is as addictive as knitting. Nine patch and Log Cabins are my favorite quilt patterns, y'know. Ot of the millions to choose from.
New hobby! Yay!
Welcome to the world of quilting...you are gonna love it! I've quilted for a while now and that and knitting keeps me sane....glad you decided to give it a try...
Watch out--it's a slippery slope! My fabric stash and yarn stash vie for supremacy all the time. Just when I think I've got all the fabric I need for my quilting projects, something else wonderful comes up. Now I have to look for that 12 days of Xmas print, and the purple coordinates!
