Whew! That's a lot - good luck.
I'm going to have to read 20 books myself in August.
I know! There is a serious run of bad times out there. I hope August stops it. (Because if it doesn't work that way, it should).
A kitten! Everyone needs a kitten.
Woah! I'm exhausted just reading about your plans!
If you need a refresher course on the wheel, just let me know!
Kittens are fun and freakin' adorable, but I hope you might also consider an adult cat. They deserve homes, too, but so many people want cute little kittens that a lot of wonderful adult cats just languish in shelters. Plus, you can be more certain that you are getting one that is healthy (my little Scherzo never was, and his bad heart just didn't show up until he was about 9 months old), and you can have a better idea of what his or her personality will be like.
This is coming from an adopter of two kittens, a 9 1/2 year old cat, and a cat somewhere between 1 and 4 years.
