Comments: April Reads

Whoa, the next Laurie R. King book is going to combine both series?! I thought the Kate Martinelli series was dead, dead, dead - guess I'd better do some refreshing. Thanks for the heads up!

I've never been much of a mystery reader so I am thrilled to learn about the Carrie Bebris mysteries. I am currently re-reading P&P for Knit the Classics so these seem a timely addition to my reading list!

Oh, for a minute there I thought you were saying there was a new Kate Martinelli book! The next book (when it comes) should be interesting.

Have you read anything by Sharon McCrumb? She has two series ... the Ballad novels, which are set in Appalachia, and a series about a forensic anthropologist named Elizabeth MacPherson (more humorous in tone). She's a wonderful writer.

I love Sharon McCrumb's books. Started with her Bimbo's of the Death Star book. And Mrs. Pollifax! I haven't read those in years.

Hardscrabble Road looks good. Cool. I need a new series.

Thanks for the reviews for Carrie Bebris' books...they are on my list, but haven't read either yet...just finished Hardscrabble Road...I agree that this series just gets better! Also just finished Laurie R. King's Locked Rooms...can't wait for her combo-series book!
