Comments: Hey, this blocking thing works!

Looks lovely!
Mine is actually nearing completion....

I'm absolutely addicted to blocking. Even for scarves and things. It makes things nice and flat and even, I'm a big fan of that :)

It's lovely!!

I'm with you on steeking. There's someone out there who just gets a thrill thinking of knitters cutting up their beautiful, painstaking Norwegian sweaters...

The scarf is lovely. There is a Yahoo group, ThreadyBear that has a teddy bear sized Nowegian sweater, including steeks, if you want to try the whole thing in miniature.

Yes, must block lace. Right now my embryonic Mountain Peaks Shawl looks like a bit of green yarn barf - but all will be well when th eblocking occurs.

Nice that online casino has your best interests at heart.

Blocking is great. My stuff would look much worse without it, it really does smooth out the odd row gauge. Steeking is more than I could do, at this point.

I too very rarely block, but have my Branching Out to block as well. Nice color. Great minds/knitters think alike. And I have to agree with you on the steeking thing. Totally freaky. Why would you want to take scissors to all your hard work??
